Behind the Whistle proudly hosted its 1st Annual Pitch, Hit & Run Competition at Wagner High School, and we’re still smiling from the energy, teamwork, and community spirit that filled the field!
A huge shoutout goes to the outstanding Wagner High School baseball players, who served as role models, mentors, and motivators throughout the event. Their involvement set the tone for a day of learning, growth, and joy. We are especially grateful to Coach Kenyon Clack for his leadership, partnership, and unwavering commitment to developing young talent in Bexar County. His dedication to growing the game and building strong community connections is exactly what Behind the Whistle is all about. This event was more than a competition—it was a celebration of youth sports, character development, and the power of community. We can’t wait to build on this success in the years to come. Thank you for being part of it.

Our Chief Officer of Awesome, Omri Goodloe chose to give back to his elementary school, Westwood Terrace. With the assistance of his former counselor, Mrs. Tucker, Omri actively collected books and shoes for students who were in need of gifts for Christmas. Omri chose to share his love of books with fellow Westwood Terrace Broncos.
